Here is some of the best-looking fantasy sports video I’ve seen on the web: the Five Minute Drill.

The Five Minute Drill
Episode “Week 14, what almost was & what will be”
Cecil Lammey: Once the fantasy season is over it is easy to forget all the little surprises you have observed throughout the year.
Sigmund Bloom: Whether you are in the playoffs are not it is important to think ahead so that is why this week we will show you what almost was in 2007 and what should be in 2008.
Cecil Lammey: The drill.
Announcer: It is time for fantasy footballs 5 Minute Drill quarterbacked by Cecil Lammey and Sigmund Bloom.
Cecil Lammey: D.J. Hackett was almost great in 2007, any time he was healthy he was nearly unstoppable. Remember last year there was a little known player named Greg Jennings who had big games despite shuffling in and out of the lineup due to injury. Look at him this year; yeah he is kind of good. Now D.J. Hackett is Seattle’s true number one wide receiver especially in the red zone, so no matter where you get him in your draft next year it represents value.
Sigmund Bloom: The Miami dolphins will probably be remembered for going O in 16 in 2007, but what you need to remember is that Ronnie Brown was the number one fantasy back before he went down with a fluke injury on an interception return. Unless the Dolphins’ take Darren McFadden Ronnie Brown will be worth a late first or early second round pick in 2008.
Cecil Lammey: In 11 quarters and Jake Delhomme had 8 touchdowns, think about that. Now we have to see how this quarterback response to Tommy John surgery, but initial reports are that he is doing fine in he should be ready for training camp. He and Steve Smith have a telepathic connection and could both be top five in their positions had Delhomme stayed healthy. Now remember this next year when Steve Smith falls to the third round and Delhomme falls much further.
Sigmund Bloom: Cadillac Williams might be in the shock, but he is inheriting a line in 2008 that paves interstate highways. Now you will be rewarded for taking a chance on Cadillac in 2008 because he is one of the best condition running backs in the league.
Cecil Lammey: If you remember the Patriots actually like running the ball when Sammy Morris was healthy, now Morris unlike Lawrence Maroni actually disguises whether the Patriots are going to run or throw. Morris signed a cap friendly 4 year deal in the off-season and could emerge as a starter in 2008.
Sigmund Bloom: People love round of numbers so Santonio Holmes should come at a deep discount next year because injuries will deny him 1000 yards and 10 touchdowns. You should still feel comfortable of him as your number two wide receiver next year; because he is in an emerging pass offense and he has got a budding superstar young quarterback in Ben Rothesburg.
Cecil Lammey: You know the drill about Godaddy .Com, they have.com names as low as $1.99, world class web hosting plus more. Viewers of the 5 Minute Drill can get 10% off any order, just entered drill3 when you check out and get your piece of the Internet at Godaddy.com
Now we turn what might have been in 2007 to what could be in 2008 and there is no better kept secret than Michael Bush he has first round talent and he is a perfect fit for the Raiders hard nose rushing attack. Yes Justin Fargas improved in his fourth year but he is fragile and honestly not as special as Bush. The Raiders have shown that their perfect willing to toss an incumbent and go with a better player off of the bench and they could just happen again next year.
Sigmund Bloom: Let me tell you why Sidney rice has to be on every fantasy team that you own in 2008, he is already one of the best wide receivers in the red zone, he has a young improving quarterback, and he has notched four touchdowns in a run first attack as a rookie. Adrian Peterson has opposing defenses obsessed and best of all he is only 21 years old.
Cecil Lammey: Every one, ourselves included tease the Titans for taking the combine warrior that could and win a starting job at one of the worst offenses in the Pac 10, but Chris Henry has shown that his explosiveness can translate into production in the NFL. Truthfully all you need to be successful in Tennessee is quickness in decisivfulness; those are traits that had disappeared from Lendale White so this job is wide open for 2008.
Sigmund Bloom: If Brett Favre was waiting for the packers to be in good hands before he retired, Aaron Rodgers performance last night may mean he will be spending a lot of time in his beach house in 2008. Aaron Rodgers performed great on a huge stage in a huge matchup, showing his running ability, his accuracy, and most importantly his ability to let those great receivers run after the catch. So if Aaron Rogers is a starter in 2008 he may be should be a starter on your fantasy team.
Cecil Lammey: Yes, we know you’re disappointed by year 2007 Detroit Lions lack of production but it can actually get worse for 2008, there are rumors that Mike Martz will be back as the offensive coordinator so players who stats have been inflated like Kitna, McDonald, Furrey, their value drops to the floor and we just don’t know what to expect from any of the other Lions.
Sigmund Bloom: Jericho Cotchery is probably going on injured reserve which is just what you need to steal him and next year’s fantasy draft. You should not be scared off by that one measly touchdown. That is because Chad Pennington had a healthy fixation on Lavernius Coles in the red zone. Most importantly Cullen Clemens big arm will get Cotcherys run after catch ability back into play so he is definitely worth a pick as your third or fourth wide receiver in 2008.
Cecil Lammey: Thanks for watching the 5 Minute Drill will see you next week. Yes, great show brother, great show.
Off camera guy: Wait, wait, wait, wait Webb called a timeout did you guys hear?
Cecil Lammey: Webb didn’t call a timeout, only a director and talent can call a timeout why…
