Personally, I was concerned about the adversarial relationship between cook and judges, since food is more about sharing and caring... but there is some good comedy in this, and these judges aren't all that mean spirited... so it works pretty good.
I get the feeling that Mark has an encyclopedic knowledge of cooking styles, and a James Bond nerve about trying new things, so this is all appealing to my creative wild side.
Kudos.
