• Winner of the 1996 STPGA Harvey Penick Teacher of the Year award
• Assisted Captain Ben Crenshaw at the 1999 Ryder Cup
• Co-hosted a golf radio show in Austin, Texas for four years
• Recognized as one of the top 25 golf instructors in Texas, Golf Magazine 2003
