Can't wait, Matt. I think this series is fun, witty, and educational. I discovered it late, but that only meant I had a lot already here to enjoy! I love to cook, and I love what you do here. One of my most favorite things on the internet. More, please!
The kangaroo seemed to very thai, with the fish sauce, chili sauce, lime, and coconut. Interesting to sit it into a dairy cream-based bed (safer to use a curry/coconut cream, but that would have been too safe ;P). Looks like it went over well though...
Licorice as the annise or fennel in a dish is the way I would have gone as well. I'd have maybe gone with a tomato-based stew, but the swapsicle was more daring and theatrical!
I was suprised by the level of production involved in Stump the Chef. I viewed my first episode on Comcast.net only tonight, and came here right away to see the rest. I didn't view the excellent production level of this show as a negative. The commentary reminds me of a cross between the old dubbed Japanese Iron Chef and MXC...which I'm sure is the exact intent :P As free and easy content, I find it enjoyable, and the episodes are just long enought to remain entertaining throughout. My opinion, of course. It seems like some of those involved with the show read these comments (based on posts in other episode threads), so perhaps your excellent suggestion of viewer submitted ingredients may find its way into the show.
Stump The Chef - Lamb, Frozen Dinner Rolls, Banana Chips
Bummer <.<
Stump The Chef - Pigeon, Mashed Potatoes, Apple Juice

Stump The Chef - Fig, Zucchini, Wasabi
Fun, as usual. Hope more are on the way!
Food Science - Fluids
Interesting!
Food Science - Hot and Spicy
Interesting and fun. Thank you for making these!
Stump The Chef - Spaghetti, Tomato Sauce, Turkey
Lots of fun. I often add curry (red) to my pasta sauce. Good job! I'll have to try the fried bird's nest.
Stump The Chef - Yak, Apple, Garbonzos
I'd try it.
Stump The Chef - Whole Chicken, Vanilla Bean, Rutabaga
Looks like something to try to recreate for fun :)
Stump The Chef - Kangaroo, Malt Liquor, Coconut

Stump The Chef - Alligator, Licorice, and Mystery Can
Licorice as the annise or fennel in a dish is the way I would have gone as well. I'd have maybe gone with a tomato-based stew, but the swapsicle was more daring and theatrical!
Stump The Chef - Sausage, Cornflakes, and Eggs
This was an excellent approach to the ingredients :)
Stump The Chef - Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato
I'd love to see these dishes written up in recipe form...I'd sure like to try to fix up one or two. This one, specifically.
Stump The Chef - Peanut Butter, Cactus, Potatoes
Those ingredients were challenging, and wouldn't have suggested to me "thai" from the start. Good pull!
Stump The Chef - Shark, Fruit Cocktail, Brussels Sprouts
Nice eye-roll on the second review :P
Stump The Chef - Squid, Chocolate, Buffalo
Nice.
Stump The Chef - Liver, French Fries, Olives
