As someone who daily receives hundreds of
e-alerts about healthy, sweet, beautifuL animals about to be killed, simply for want of a home,I feel nothing but disgust and revulsion for anyone who intentionally breeds animals for personal profit. Anyone who would make a buck off the uterus of an innocent animal is without compassion and has no soul.
If you want a special pet, or a particular breed, check your local shelter or humane society or seek out a breed rescue on the internet; they are all around the country and many have purebred animals that have been abandoned and are in desperate need of a home.
Millions of wonderful companion animals, family pets are given up for reasons that are so unexplainable and unacceptable that they would make you weep...since the likelihood of an older animal being adopted, is slim to none...and once in a shelter, they become ill, depressed and abandon all hope,,if they last that long, since some shelters gas owner turn-ins within 24 hours.
BE A RESPONSIBLE PET OWNER! SPAY/NEUTER YOUR PETS! NEVER CHAIN A DOG AND LEAVE HIM/HER OUTSIDE. AND MOST OF ALL, NEVER BUY WHILE OTHERS DIE!
