Play Value - The Fall of Atari
I never register for anything. I registered for this. I registered, just to say "I LOVE THIS SHOW!"
Play Value - Failed Consoles - Part One
GericVas: Yikes! The art of flaming is lost on people that use words like: unopinionative. Although you are trying to shed a negative connotation on the idea of conforming, you are misguided. Everyone is entitled to agree with, or disagree with as much or as little information as they want. So when I agree with 100% of the ideas, that falls in the "agree with as much as they want" category. This video does not demand conformance of any kind. For example, if they said "You must DO this, or you must THINK that" and you disagree with the directive, but you still perform the action, then you are conforming. In similar vein, if you DO agree with the directives and perform the actions you are conforming. "Conformance" is an ambivalent type of word. So you are 100% wrong when you say that I have not shared an opinion, and that I have conformed. As a side note: In my experience, people that talk about "conforming" as an insult are blind to the many "conformances" they have been subjected to and willingly perform. Have you ever purchased soda pop? You do not *need* to purchase soda pop, but you do. Here's another good one: Have you ever brushed your teeth? If you have, then you have conformed with the views of dentists. You should be mindful of using powerful words without understanding their meaning. To respond to your last question about understanding the video game industry: I have grown up a consumer of video games. I enjoy playing video games. I have purchased and played many video games. I enjoy and use technology extensively in my line of work. I enjoy learning about the history of various technologies including video game technology. Are there any other prerequisites that I should have to take part in this series of videos and discussions? This is the part that you close your mouth, turn around and walk away. Your friends will never know that you've been served.

GenricVas: Did you write your post under the influence of drugs or alcohol? I could barely understand it. Clean up your language, and spend a few minutes with a grammar instructor. As for this stellar series, kudos to another accurate and enlighting post. I've had the pleasure of experiencing each console listed, and agree completely with the views expressed.
